VOLUNTEER

MEDICAL

Since the war started, EVP has been activating its established network of medical teams and firefighters, and is now actively deploying multiple teams weekly at the direct request of the IDF.

Within 48 hours of the attack, EVP was formally activated by the IDF, Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon, and the Israel Fire Service.

There is an immediate need for the following specialties:

Medical. Operating room/PACU staff (physicians, nurses); emergency room staff (physicians, nurses); ICU staff; providers with experience in emergency medicine and at trauma centers (physicians, nurses, paramedics).

Firefighting. Active career firefighters (min. 3 years experience); active volunteer firefighters (min. 6 years experience). Responders should have Firefighter 2, HAZMAT, Operations, and Rescue Technician certs. Priority will go to certified rescue and confined space technicians.

EVP anticipates further deployments of up to 200 additional responders. Working with local hospitals, the Israel Fire & Rescue Authority, and the Israel Defense Forces, EVP responders are saving lives and relieving pressure on healthcare workers both at the hospital and in the field.
